- Pitt and Cal close out the regular season with a three-game series at Vartabedian Field. The Panthers look to secure one of the final two spots for the 2026 ACC Softball Tournament, being held at the University of Virginia from May 6-9. Pitt currently sits at No. 11 in the ACC standings.
- Pitt and Cal meet for the first time since the 2015 NCAA Regionals in Ann Arbor, Mich. (May 15-16, 2015), where Pitt dropped the opening game to Cal, 11-3, before earning revenge with a 6-3 win in an elimination game to advance to the NCAA Regional Final.
