Pitt Set for ACC Road Test at Louisville

PITTSBURGH – Pitt women's lacrosse heads to Louisville Saturday for their final ACC road matchup against the Cardinals at UofL Lacrosse Stadium. First draw is set for 12 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
Pitt closed out its home ACC slate with a 14-11 victory over Florida State Sunday at Highmark Stadium. With the victory, the Panthers have garnered three conference wins on the season, their most in program history in a single season. Kaitlyn Giandonato led the way with five goals and an assist, while Avery Moon added three goals and two assists. Aidan Carr won eight draw controls as the Panthers won the draw battle and improved to 7-7 on the season.
SCOUTING LOUISVILLE
The Cardinals enter at 6-7 overall and 2-6 in ACC play. Louisville most recently dropped a 22-5 decision at Stanford on Saturday.
PANTHERS TO WATCH
Moon leads Pitt with 29 goals and 25 assists for 54 points on the season. Giandonato is the team's top goal scorer with 39 on the year. Carr leads the draw circle with 109 draw controls on the season.
MATCHUP HISTORY
The all-time series is tied 2-2, with Louisville taking the last two meetings. In the most recent matchup, the Cardinals defeated Pitt 19-11 at Highmark Stadium in 2025.
