- Pitt returns to Vartabedian Field to host the Boston College Eagles in their first home conference series of the season. Friday's game has been moved up to a 1 p.m. start with the remaining games to be played as scheduled. All games will be streamed on ACC Network Extra.
- Pitt trails 25-24 all-time against the Eagles, with the series being tied 3-3 under head coach Jenny Allard.
- Pitt ranks second in the ACC in stolen bases, going 62-70 on stolen base attempts this season. Louisville leads the ACC with 64 stolen bases this season with NC State ranking third with 44 swiped bags.
- The Panthers' speed is highlighted by three players ranked in the ACC's top 10 for stolen bases: Ahmari Braden (3rd, 13-15), Alena Ball (T-4th, 12-13) and Tieley Vaughn (T-4th, 12-13). The Panthers are the only team in the ACC with three players ranked inside the top nine in stolen bases.
