For the 23rd time, Pitt and Georgia Tech meet Wednesday night, this time inside McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta. The game will be televised on the ACC Network with tipoff scheduled for 7 p.m.
Evan Legler (play-by-play) will be on the call with Dan Bonner and Jim Boeheim serving as analysts for the ACC Network.
The game will also be broadcast on the Panthers Radio Network (flagship 93.7 The Fan) with Bill Hillgrove (play-by-play) and Curtis Aiken (analysis) providing the commentary.
Georgia Tech leads the all-time series 13-9, including 5-1 inside McCamish Pavilion, but Pitt won the most recent meeting there, a 72-64 victory on Jan. 23, 2024.
Pitt is 4-1 in the last five meetings against Georgia Tech, but the Yellow Jackets posted a 73-67 victory in Pittsburgh a season ago.
Pitt is one of three teams at 0-3 in ACC play this year, while Georgia Tech is tied with two other teams at 1-3. The Yellow Jackets are 10-2 at home this year, while Pitt is still looking for its first true road win of the season.
Pitt freshmen Roman Siulepa and Omari Witherspoon have made noticeable strides over the past month. The duo is combining for 25.6 points over the past five games and both are shooting over 50 percent from the field.
