PITTSBURGH – Right-handed pitcher Kyle Demi signed a free-agent contract with the Ottawa Titans of the Frontier League, the team announced yesterday.
Demi spent the entirety of his career with the Pitt baseball program, appearing in over 40 games for the Panthers throughout his four years.
The WPIAL product from North Allegheny notched career highs in nearly every statistical category as a senior last season. Demi appeared in 19 games and made five starts over 34.1 innings. He struck out 42 batters in 2025 which doubled his previous single-season mark.
Off the field, Demi earned a 4.0 GPA during the 2025 spring semester and was named to the All-ACC Academic Baseball Team for the second-consecutive season.
The Frontier League is an independent baseball league that is comprised of 18 teams across the United States and Canada. Demi will reconnect with former teammate Justin Fogel who has been with Ottawa for a majority of their 2025 season. Fogel played in 54 of Pitt's 55 games in 2024.
The Titans kick off a six-game road trip on Tuesday evening that begins with a three-game set against the Quebec Capitales.
