
12 Panthers Named to All-ACC Academic Team

PITTSBURGH – The Pitt softball team had 12 Panthers named to the All-ACC Academic Team, as announced by the conference office Thursday afternoon.
To be named to the All-ACC Academic team, student-athletes must have a career 3.0 GPA and a 3.0 GPA from the most recent semester, while participating in at least 50% of their team's contests; pitchers must have participated in at least 20% of their team's contests.
Kendall Brown, Kylie Griggs, and Amanda Ramirez each earned their third recognition to the All-ACC Academic team. Brown and freshman Gwen Sparks each earned a 4.0 GPA during the spring semester as a total of 10 Panthers recorded a GPA of 3.5 or better for the semester.
