Panthers Earn Spot in 2025 ACC Tournament, Face Stanford Wednesday

PITTSBURGH – The Pitt softball team punched their ticket to the 2025 ACC Softball Championship tournament for the first time since 2018, as announced by the conference office Saturday night.
The Panthers (20-31, 7-17 ACC) earned the No. 12 seed, and the final spot in the tournament, and will face the No. 5 seed Stanford Cardinal (39-10, 16-8 ACC) on Wednesday, May 7 at 1:30 p.m.
ACC Network and ESPN will provide live coverage of the 2025 ACC Softball Championship. The first three rounds will be broadcast on ACC Network, with additional studio coverage between games.
