
Panthers Record Five Top 10 Program Times at Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH, N.C. – Five of the twelve Panthers who made the trip to compete at Raleigh Relays, hosted by NC State, set top 10 program times.
Senior Luke Miller ran his first collegiate 10K race and finished in 29:08.23, which is the second-best time in program history. Miller is behind only Keith Dowling, who set the school record in 1990 with a time of 28:54.54. Peyton Geehrer, who also competed in the 10K, ran a personal best 31:42.6.
Freshman Thomas McMahon, competing in his first outdoor collegiate race, won his heat in the 5K with a pace of 14:02.06. The Columbus, Ohio native notched the fifth fastest time in men's program history in the event.
Luke Simpson was the top finisher for the Panthers in the men's 1500-meter race, collecting 40th place with a time of 3:45.35. Ethan Fingerhut set a personal record of 3:50.81.
The following day, the women produced three additional top 10 program times, all in the 10K. Winnie Incorvaia, who set the school record in the event at this meet the previous year, finished 15th in 34:30.18. Ellen Baker was the next in blue and gold to finish, with her time of 35:28.15. Sarah Hurst had a time of 35:36.12. Camy Kiser tallied a 35:41.16 time. It was the first 10K race for Baker, Hurst and Kiser. With their results, they inserted themselves in 5th, 6th, and 7th, respectively in the program top 10 list.
Sienna Miller, the only Panther to compete in the women's 5K, finished second in her heat with a time of 17:12.49 in her outdoor debut.
