Abby Reisz Named ACC Defensive Player of the Week

PITTSBURGH — Redshirt junior goalkeeper Abby Reisz has been named the ACC Defensive Player of the Week following her shutout performance in Pitt's 1-0 victory over top-ranked Notre Dame on Thursday night at Ambrose Urbanic Field.

Reisz played all 90 minutes in goal, recording six saves to help the Panthers secure their first-ever win over a No. 1 opponent. She made a diving stop in the first half to preserve the scoreless tie, then anchored the defense in the final minutes to seal the upset.
