Panthers to Host Pitt Relays

PITTSBURGH – The Pitt swimming program will kick off their 2025-26 campaign on Saturday, Oct. 11 at Trees Pool, hosting neighbors Carnegie Mellon and Duquesne for the Pitt Relays. The meet is set to begin at 11 a.m.
The relays will consist of seven events, including a five-minute break following every men's event.

200 Free Relay
LAST TIME OUT
- The Pitt women are coming off their best finish at NCAA's in 29 years, placing 27th and qualifying all five relays to NCAAs.
- The Pitt men broke four of the five program relay records last season and graduated diver Cam Cash became the first Pitt diver in program history to qualify to NCAAs on all three boards in all his four years.
- Chase Kreitler enters his fourth year at the helm of the program, looking to build upon his success. Last season, Pitt women earned their highest placing at ACC's since 2015, finishing eighth.
THE OPPOSITION
- CMU ended their 2024-25 campaign with three national titles at the Division III Championships finishing sixth on the day in the men's category, the highest finish since 2006 for the Tartans.
- Duquesne returns 16 of their student-athletes from last season, where they posted a third place finish at the A-10 Championship.
MEET INFORMATION
Admission to Saturday's meet is free, with doors opening to fans at 10 a.m. Action can be streamed on ACC Network Extra.
