Pitt Looks to Extend 14-Game Home Win Streak Saturday Against Stanford

THE OPENING TIP
- Pitt (11-2, 2-0 ACC) hosts ACC newcomer Stanford (9-4, 1-1 ACC) Saturday, Jan. 4. Tipoff from the Petersen Events Center is set for 6:30 p.m. with Doug Sherman and Cory Alexander calling the action on ESPN2.

The duo has combined for 22 double-figure scoring games, including nine games with 20 or more points scored. Leggett (17.5 ppg.) and Lowe (17.5 ppg.) are tied for sixth in the ACC in scoring.

- Jaland Lowe is averaging 18.7 points and 10.3 assists per game over the past three contests. He recorded back-to-back 10+ assist double-doubles before finishing with 27 points and eight assists in Wednesday's win over California.
- Pitt is one of two programs (joined by Rutgers) in the NCAA with two guards averaging 17.0 points and 4.5 rebounds per game or better. Ishmael Leggett (17.5 ppg., 6.1 rpg.) and Jaland Lowe (17.5 ppg., 4.8 rpg.) have anchored the Panther attack through the first 13 games of the season.
- Ishmael Leggett is one of four players in the NCAA averaging at least 17.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 steals per game.
- Cameron Corhen has scored in double figures nine times and is averaging 11.1 points and 5.7 rebounds per game, while shooting a team-high 69.8 percent (60-of-86) from the field. He leads the Panthers with 24 dunks and 29 offensive rebounds.
- Zack Austin is averaging 12.9 points per game, while shooting 51.4 percent (19-of-37) from three-point range over the past seven contests. He has made two or more threes six times, including a pair of games with five made threes, in that span.
- Jaland Lowe is filling the stat sheet this season averaging 17.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game. He is one of two players in the NCAA averaging at least 17.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game on the season.
- Brandin Cummings has scored in double figures in each of the past three games and is averaging 18.3 points per game on 63.0 percent (17-of-27) shooting from the field, including 10-of-15 (.667) from three-point range.
- Zack Austin is two blocked shots shy of becoming just the fourth player in NCAA history to total at least 1,200 points, 600 rebounds, 175 three-pointers, and 200 blocks in a career.
- Ishmael Leggett is averaging 18.3 points per game, while going 49-of-74 (.662) from the field, including 11-of-22 (.500) from three-point range, in seven contests at the Petersen Events Center. Leggett missed Pitt's win over California Wednesday with an ankle injury.
- Pitt ranks second in the ACC in field goal percentage (.490) and effective field goal percentage (.564), while ranking third in scoring (84.2 ppg.).
