Panthers Ranked 19th Nationally; Second in North East Region

PITTSBURGH – Pitt Gymnastics, coming off a 3-0 performance that included three individual titles and 10 podium finishes at the Next Level Podium Challenge, jumped up to 19th in the women's gymnastics Road To Nationals poll. The Panthers also rank second in the North East region and third among Atlantic Coast Conference programs.
Pitt is tied for 13th nationally in uneven bars after posting a 49.025 at the Next Level Podium Challenge. Jah'Liyah Bedminster grabbed the individual title with a 9.850, while Emily Todd (9.825), Jaime Pratt (9.825), and Hallie Copperwheat (9.800) also earned top three finishes.
The Panthers rank 19th nationally in floor exercise (49.000) with Jordyn Ewing tied for 14th following her individual title performance (9.900) in the season opening event. Pitt is also tied for 22nd in the vault after posting a 48.875 as a team at the Next Level Podium Challenge.
Pitt returns to action Friday, Jan. 17 with a home meet against Clemson. Walkouts from Fitzgerald Field House is set to begin at 7 p.m. with first rotation coming shortly after.
