Bout Signs Professional Contract with Odense Boldklub

PITTSBURGH – 2023 Pitt women's soccer graduate Anna Bout has signed a professional contract with Odense Buldklub in Denmark. Bout will join the club on a one-year contract that will run until the summer of 2025.
Bout is the ninth player under head coach Randy Waldrum to sign a professional contract, joining Amanda West (Houston Dash), Landy Mertz (NC Courage), Hailey Davidson (Dallas Trinity FC), Athalie Palomo (Tigres UANL), Dixon Veltri (Maccabi Emek Hefer WFC), Hollie Olding (Charlton Athletic WFC), Juliana Vazquez (Puerto Rico Sol FC) and Amaia Pena Athletic Club Femenino).
Over the course of her career at Pitt, Bout started in 72 of the 97 games played. She racked in 34 points as she collected eight goals and 18 assists. The Cambridge, Ontario, Canada native played a total of 6207 minutes on the pitch for Pitt. She played a monumental role in the Panthers' success in their most historic season during the 2023 campaign. Bout posted the game winning goal against Duke to help the Panthers secure their first-ever win against the Blue Devils. Her efforts helped the Panthers set program records for most wins overall (17), ACC wins (6), home wins (9), points (194), goals (64) and assists (68) during the 2023 season. Pitt posted five top 25 wins including defeating three teams in the top ten. Pitt also advanced to the ACC Championship Semifinal and NCAA Elite Eight fields for the first time in program history.
