Lemongo Earns ACC Field Athlete of the Week Honors

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – After a stellar shot put performance at the South Florida Invitational, Norrah Lemongo has been named the ACC Women's Field Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference earlier this afternoon.

A native of Cameroon, Lemongo won the shot put competition with her career best throw of 15.68 meters. Her mark is the fourth best in the conference thus far and ranks 54^th in the country. Only a freshman, Lemongo is fourth in the shot put in the all-time top-10 program record books at Pitt.

This is the first recognition of the outdoor schedule for Lemongo. During the indoor campaign, Lemongo was named ACC Women's Field Athlete of the Week on December 5, 2023.
