PITTSBURGH – The Panthers fell to the Mountaineers, 11-1, at PNC Park on Tuesday evening.

Pittsburgh, PA native, Tyler Bischke, went 2-3 with an RBI single up the middle in his first collegiate game at PNC Park. Bischke collected his 14^th multi-hit game of the season and 67^th one of his career. Justin Fogel would also go 2-3 tonight, singling in the sixth inning and scoring on Bischke's RBI single a few batters later. Luke Cantwell doubled off the top of the wall in center field to extend his on-base streak to 37 games. Cantwell has reached base safely in every game since February 24^rd. Designated Hitter, Josh Spiegel, had Pitt's other hit this evening, as he went 1-3. Spiegel has recorded a hit in four-straight games and seven of his last nine.

Out of the bullpen, Matt Porter, Ryan Partridge, Gavin Chillot and Kyle Mosely all threw scoreless frames for the Panthers. Porter struck out two and allowed just one hit over his 1.1 innings. Pittsburgh, PA native, Ryan Partridge, faced the minimum in his outing, sitting down all three Mountaineers that he faced. Chillot and Mosley each struck out two in their respective innings.

West Virginia scored eight runs over the first three innings and led 8-0 after three.

The Mountaineers added three runs on a two-run home run and sacrifice fly in the top of the fifth inning and extended their lead to eleven.

Pitt got on the board courtesy of the Pittsburgh Kid, Tyler Bischke, in the bottom of the sixth inning. Justin Fogel reached on a swinging bunt single and advanced to second on a throwing error by the catcher. Bischke bounced an RBI single up the middle, his second hit of the game, and drove in Fogel from second.

The Panthers fell 11-1 in seven innings.
