
Bedminster, Ewing Prepped for National Collegiate Gymnastics Regional Championships

PITTSBURGH – Senior Jah'Liyah Bedminster and junior Jordyn Ewing are set to travel to Ann Arbor, MI to compete in the National Colligate Gymnastics Regional Championships, Thursday evening.
Bedminster and Ewing are set to compete in the evening quad meet on Thursday, April 4 at the Crisler Center. The meet is slated for a 7 p.m. start and will be streamed live on ESPN+.
This duo each qualified to compete on floor after their stellar performance throughout the 2024 season. Bedminster and Ewing are the first Panthers since Katie O'Rurke in 2012 to qualify as an individual specialist on floor. Bedminster will be rotating with Oklahoma while Ewing will be with NC State.

This upcoming competition marks Ewing's first appearance at the NCAA Regional competition. The junior leads Pitt with an NQS of 9.905 on floor and a season and career-high 9.950 on the event. Ove this season, Ewing has garnered five event titles and was named to the All-ACC Floor team. Her performance on floor at the ACC Championships tied her for the second-place title overall – earning All-Championship Floor Team status.
Senior Bedminster earned an NQS of 9.895 on floor and a career-high 9.900 five times on the event this season. The Loganville, GA native secured four individual titles this season with one on floor. She earned All-ACC Floor Team status from her performance this season. At the ACC Championships, Bedminster tied for sixth overall after earning a 9.900 for her routine to secured All-Championship Floor Team honors.
