QUICK HITS: Pitt hosts Ohio for a midweek contest at Vartabedian Field, Wednesday at 4 p.m. The Panthers and Bobcats meet for the ninth time in program history and for the fourth time in Pittsburgh. The two teams face off for the first time since the 2019 season where Pitt dropped to Ohio, 11-9, in an extra-innings battle at Vartabedian Field.

- Junior catcher KK Esparza is tied for first in the ACC and ranks 15th in the NCAA with 12 caught stealings.

- Kat Rodriguez leads the Panthers in batting average (.343), runs scored (24), and hits (46), triples (2). Kylie Griggs leads the Panthers in OPS (1.055), hit by pitches (8), RBI (25), slugging percentage (.653), stolen bases (8) and is second in doubles (6) and home runs (10).
- Kylie Griggs has reached base in the last 16 consecutive games. Griggs is batting .343 (12-for-35) with 11 runs scored, three doubles, five home runs, 12 RBI, nine walks, a .857 slugging percentage, and .531 on-base percentage in that span.
- In 41 games this season, Griggs has recorded 27 hits in 101 at-bats with six doubles, 10 home runs, and 26 RBI. Griggs entered the season with 34 career hits in 172 at-bats with six doubles and five home runs in 81 career games.
- Olivia Stefanoni appeared in all three games at Boston College, and did not give up a run, a walk, or a hit by pitch in her 9.0 innings pitched.
