
Bedminster Secures Spot at 2024 National Collegiate Gymnastics Regional Championships

PITTSBURGH – Senior Jah'Liyah Bedminster from the University of Pittsburgh gymnastics has secured a spot at the 2024 National Collegiate Gymnastics Regional Championships as an individual floor specialist, announced by the NCAA.
Bedminster punched her ticket after a floor specialist withdrew from competition and is now one of the top-16 floor event specialists based on National Qualifying Scores (NQS). She is set to compete at the Ann Arbor, MI regional site along with junior Jordyn Ewing and will compete April 3-6.
The Loganville, GA native joins Ewing as the first Panther to qualify as an individual specialist on Floor since Katie O'Rurke in 2012. The senior earned an NQS of 9.895 on floor and a career-high 9.900 five times on the event this season. Bedminster has secured four titles this season with one on floor. At the ACC Championships, Bedminster tied for sixth overall after earning a 9.900 for her routine. This performance earned her All-Championship Floor Team honors.
