Ewing Qualifies 2024 National Collegiate Gymnastics Regional Championships

PITTSBURGH – Junior Jordyn Ewing from the University of Pittsburgh gymnastics team will compete as an individual floor specialist at the 2024 National Collegiate Gymnastics Regional Championships, announced Monday via the 2024 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Selection Show.
Ewing was selected as one of the top-16 event specialists based on National Qualifying Scores (NQS). The junior was placed at the Ann Arbor, MI regional site and will compete April 3-6.

A Nova Scotia, native, Ewing is the first Panther since Katie O'Rurke in 2012 to qualify as an individual specialist on floor. This upcoming competition marks Ewing's first appearance at the NCAA Regional competition. The junior leads Pitt with an NQS of 9.905 on floor and a season and career high 9.950 on the event. Over this season, Ewing has garnered five event titles. Her performance at the ACC Championships on floor tied her for the second place title overall – earning All-Championship Floor team status.
