
Bedminster, Ewing Earn All-ACC Gymnastics Team Honors

GREENSBORO, NC – The University of Pittsburgh gymnastics team saw two gymnasts selected to the All-ACC Floor Team. Senior Jah'Liyah Bedminster and junior Jordyn Ewing earned All-ACC Floor Team honors as one of the top six gymnasts in the ACC based on their National Qualifying Score (NQS) following the regular season.
Bedminster competed in every meet this season (11) – earning new career high scores on vault (9.950) and floor (9.900) while posting a season-high 9.850 on bars. She has posted a 9.900 on floor four times this season so far. Across the 11 meets, she has posted a 9.850 or higher on the floor event. The Loganville, GA native secured Pitt's first-ever ACC Gymnast of the Week award (1/15/24) for her performance against the Kent State Golden Flashes. Bedminster posted a career-high perfect 9.950 for her vault against North Carolina (2/3/24). The Panthers haven't seen a 9.950 on vault since 2004. She also secured Pitt's first-ever ACC Specialist of the Week award (2/6/24) after her strong routines posted against North Carolina. Bedminster has secured three first-place titles this season: three on vault and one on floor. She has also counted nine scores for Pitt on vault, ten on bars and has counted every routine on floor (11) for the Panthers.
Ewing competed in all 11 meets during the regular season – posting a 9.850 five times on bars, a 9.850 on beam, and a 9.900 four times on floor with a 9.925 twice. Her 9.925 floor routine is currently the highest scored routine of the season on the event for Pitt. The Nova Scotia, Canada native secured a first-place title six times this season – two on bars, one on beam and three on floor. Within her 11 appearances this season, she counted ten routines on bars, seven on beam and all 11 on floor.
