
Michael Sullivan Picked 39th Overall by Toronto FC in 2025 MLS SuperDraft

PITTSBURGH – Following a decorated collegiate career, senior midfielder Michael Sullivan was drafted 39th overall by Toronto FC Friday evening in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft.
With the selection, Sullivan became the 10th Panther drafted in the MLS under head coach Jay Vidovich. Additionally, Friday marked the fifth-consecutive season the Pitt men's soccer program has had a player drafted.

Sullivan enjoyed a successful collegiate career, leading Pitt to a College Cup appearance in 2022, along with national quarterfinal appearances in 2021 and 2024, respectively.
For his career, Sullivan played numerous positions en route to compiling six goals and two assists for 14 total points. Overall, he made 41 starts across 64 appearances – logging 3500 minutes.
