Pitt Gymnasts Shine in Season Opening Panther Preview

PITTSBURGH – The University of Pittsburgh 2025 women's gymnastics team made their first appearance at the Panther Preview Friday night at the Fitzgerald Field House.
The Panthers return a pair of 2024 NCAA Regional Championship participants in Jah'Liyah Bedminster and Jordyn Ewing along with two-time NCAA Regional Championship qualifier Hallie Copperwheat. Six of Pitt's seven newcomers - transfer Elizabeth Cesarone (Central Michigan) along with freshmen Camryn Chiu, Olivia Giunta, Meika Lee, Lila Pileggi, and Darbi Simcox made their Pitt debuts Friday evening.

The 2025 Pitt Gymnastics season will officially open Jan. 11 at the Next Level Podium Challenge in Battle Creek, Mich. The Panthers will compete against George Washington, Illinois State, and host Western Michigan in the season opening event.
