Panther Preview Set for Friday Night at Fitzgerald Field House

PITTSBURGH -- The University of Pittsburgh gymnastics team is set to provide a first look to their fans Friday night at the Fitzgerald Field with the annual Panther Preview. The exhibition meet is set to begin at 7 p.m. and entry is free for all fans.
The meet will comprise of an arrangement of the top Panthers competing as selected by second-year head coach Casey Jo MacPherson and her new staff who will also set the team's lineups this season.
The Panthers return a pair of 2024 NCAA Regional Championship participants in Jah'Liyah Bedminster and Jordyn Ewing along with two-time NCAA Regional Championship qualifier Hallie Copperwheat. Pitt's seven newest additions to the roster including transfers Elizabeth Cesarone (Central Michigan) and Jaime Pratt (Arkansas) along with freshmen Camryn Chiu, Olivia Giunta, Meika Lee, Lila Pileggi, and Darbi Simcox will appear for the first time in the Fitzgerald Field House.
The 2025 Pitt Gymnastics season will officially open Jan. 11 at the Next Level Podium Challenge in Battle Creek, Mich. The Panthers will compete against George Washington, Illinois State, and host Western Michigan in the season opening event.
