Pitt Gymnastics Releases 2025 Schedule

PITTSBURGH – The University of Pittsburgh gymnastics program announced its 2025 season schedule, highlighted by five home meets, Wednesday morning. The Panthers will celebrate the program's 50-year anniversary of varsity status, dating back to the first season of competition in 1975 under Pitt Athletics Hall of Famer Donna Sanft, throughout the 2025 campaign.
Head coach Casey Jo MacPherson enters her second year at the helm of the program with the 2025 season also representing the second year of ACC Gymnastics competition. The Panthers return several key members from last year's team, including 2024 NCAA Regional Championship qualifiers Jah'Liyah Bedminster and Jordyn Ewing, along with ACC Championship overall runner-up Hallie Copperwheat.
Pitt fans will get an early look at the 2025 squad at the Panther Preview Dec. 20 at Fitzgerald Field House.
The Panthers open the regular season January 11 at the Western Michigan Podium before leaping into ACC action. Pitt hosts Clemson (Jan. 17) and Stanford (Jan. 26) before road meets with Clemson (Jan. 31) and NC State (Feb. 8).
Pitt rounds out conference action with a home meet against North Carolina (Feb. 14) and a road trip to Cal (Feb. 23).
Non-conference action resumes with a Feb. 28 meet at Kent State followed by a home Backyard Brawl meet with West Virginia March 9. The Panthers also compete at the Minneapolis Podium (March 15) before traveling to Greensboro, N.C. for the ACC Championship Saturday, March 22.
NCAA Regional action will take place April 4-6 with the NCAA National Championship at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas set for April 17-19.
