
Eight Panthers Secure WCGA Scholastic All-American Honors

PITTSBURGH – The University of Pittsburgh gymnastics team placed eight student athletes on the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-All-American list, announced by the organization late last week.
WCGA Scholastic All-America honors are awarded to gymnasts with a 3.5 cumulative grade point average or a 3.5 grade point average for 2022-23.
Lauren Beckwith, Kaleigh Cleveland, Hallie Copperwheat, Kennedy Duke, Reaia Floyd, Reyna Garvey, Trinity Munsisoumang, and Jillian Zitcovich earned WCGA Scholastic All-America honors. Beckwith and Floyd each became a four-time WCGA Scholastic All-America selections, while the remainder of Pitt's selections made the team for the first time.
Munsisoumang was one of 228 women's gymnasts to post a 4.0 GPA last year.
