Mertz Earns Position on TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week

PITTSBURGH – Fifth year midfielder Landy Mertz earns a position on the TopDrawerSoccer team of the week, announced Tuesday.
The Pittsburgh, PA native started the season off hot along with the rest of the Pitt women's soccer squad after taking down both the Buffalo Bulls and Drexel Dragons last week. The fifth year started in the two games played this season, totaling 129 minutes thus far. Mertz was a key contributor in these past two wins, posting four points with a goal and two assists.
