The regular season begins at the University of Buffalo on Aug. 17th. This will be the sixth time Pitt has competed against Buffalo.
Three days after Buffalo, the Pitt women will take on Drexel at home (Aug. 20) then travel to Kent, OH (Aug. 24).
The Panthers then have a three-game stretch at home against Bucknell (Aug. 27), Duquesne (Aug. 31), and Bowling green (Sept. 3).
After a nice break at home, Pitt women will hit the road for four travel games in a row. Two in Cincinnati, OH against Xavier (Sept. 7) and Cincinnati (Sept. 10). Following their time in Ohio, the team will head down south for their first conference games of the season and face NC State (Sept. 17) and Louisville shortly after on the 21st.
Coming back to Pittsburgh for a while, the next four conference games will be at home against Notre Dame (Sept. 24), Boston College (Sept. 30), Duke (Oct. 5), and Wake Forest on the 8th. Having fallen to Duke last season, it will be an intense match up as Pitt will see how the Panthers take on the Blue Devils.
On the road for the middle of October, the Pitt women will travel to Syracuse (Oct. 14), Florida State (Oct. 19), and Clemson (Oct. 22). Having tied with Clemson and lost to Florida State last season, these are games to look forward to for competitive match ups.
Ending the regular season at home, the Panthers will play against Virginia Tech at Ambrose Urbanic Field. Having last season be the first time the Panthers took down Virginia Tech in program history, the women are hoping to secure another win against the Hookies this season.
