- Pitt softball begins the final week of the regular season with a mid-week contest against Robert Morris at Vartabedian Field, Tuesday, May 3 (ACCNX). Due to inclement weather predicted in Tuesday's forecast, the game has been moved up to a 3 p.m. start time.
- The Panthers will host four home games in the final two week of the regular season, concluding ACC plat with a three-game series with NC State for Senior Weekend, May 5-7.
- The Panthers face off against the Colonials for the second time this season and just the third time in the last eight years. Pitt defeated RMU, 6-0, early this season at the North Athletic Complex.
- Pitt will play at the North Athletic Complex for the first time since 2013, playing a doubleheader April 3 where Robert Morris came out with two victories by the scores of 6-1, and 6-2. them and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
- Dani Drogemuller has recorded 120 strikeouts for her second consecutive 100+ strikeout season. Drogemuller is the third Panther to record two 100+ strikeouts seasons along with Savanah King (2012, 2014) and Cory Berliner (2008, 2010).
- Drogemuller is the first pitcher since Meghan Bostick (2006, 2007) to have 100 or more strikeouts in consecutive seasons.
- Yvonne Whaley leads the ACC and is third in the nation with 17 doubles this season. Whaley is just one double away from breaking the single season program record.
- Whaley is the second toughest batter to strikeout in the ACC, and the 17th toughest batter to strikeout of any player in the NCAA. Whaley is batting .428 on the season and has recorded just five strikeouts in 138 at-bats this season.
- Sarah Seamans ranks among the top 10 in the ACC in slugging percentage (.694 - 10th), and OPS (1.148 - 10th). Seamans is one of four players in the ACC with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage and has the third most putouts in the ACC with 276.
