Six Panthers Earn EAGL All-Tournament Honors

DURHAM, NH – Six gymnasts from the University of Pittsburgh were named to the East Atlantic Gymnastic League (EAGL) All-Tournament first and second teams announced Saturday, March 18, at the 2023 EAGL Championship.
To earn All-Tournament honors, competing gymnasts must finish in the top 16. The top eight, including ties, are named first-team recipients, while the following eight gymnasts, including ties, garner second-team accolades.
Pitt had five gymnasts earn first team honors – freshman Natalia Pawlak on bars (9.900) who tied for the conference runner-up title, freshman Reyna Garvey on beam (9.875) who placed seventh overall, and senior Ciara Ward and sophomores Jordyn Ewing, and Sidney Washington on floor (9.850).
Three Panthers secured second team honors – Washington on bars (9.800, Ewing on beam (9.850), and senior Erin Hutchison on floor (9.825).

The Panthers will find out if they qualified for regionals during the NCAA gymnastics selection show Monday, March 20. The NCAA Regional Championship will take place March 30-April 2.
