Panthers Begin Five-Game Homestand Tuesday

PITTSBURGH, PA – Pitt women's lacrosse begins a five-game home stand Tuesday afternoon at Highmark Stadium as Liberty comes to town. First draw is set for 4 p.m.

Last time out, Pitt dropped an ACC road game at the hands of the Virginia Tech Hokies 19-6. Six different Panthers scored, but it wasn't enough to counter the Hokies' offense Saturday.

The Flames come into Tuesday's matchup sitting at 1-4, with a win over VCU and two losses to ACC opponents, North Carolina and Duke. Mackenzie Lehman has recorded 13 points (8 G, 5 A) to lead Liberty on offense, while goalie Mara Tellers has stopped 27 shots on the defensive end.

This will be the first meeting between Pitt and Liberty. Admission is free at Highmark Stadium for all fans and the game can be watched on ACC Network Extra here.

Tomorrow will be the Hidden Opponent and Mental Health Awareness Game. Hidden Opponent is an organization focused on breaking the stigma on mental health in athletics and Hidden Opponent wristbands will be given to the first 250 fans in attendance.
