
Panthers Set to Host Senior Night Dual Meet with Long Island

PITTSBURGH – The University of Pittsburgh gymnastics team (10-12, 2-4 EAGL) will compete in their final meet of the regular season against Long Island at the Fitzgerald Field House on Friday, March 10 at 7 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
- The University of Pittsburgh gymnastics team (10-14, 2-4 EAGL) fell to the Mountaineers 197.325 and the Chippewas 196.500 on Sunday afternoon at the WVU Coliseum.
- The Panthers posted their season-high road score with their 196.125 overall.
- Freshman Reyna Garvey earned the first-place title overall for her performance on beam.
- Sophomore Hallie Copperwheat claimed the second-place title in the all-around – scoring a 39.400.
- The Sharks broke the program-record team score on Sunday – earning a 196.100.
- LIU finished in third place behind Michigan State (198.225) and Bowling Green (196.200).
- Freshman Syd Morris secured a 39.550 for her performance in the all-around.
- This will be the sixth meeting between the Sharks and the Panthers. Currently Pitt holds a 4-1 lead over LIU.
