Pitt Welcomes #2 Syracuse to Highmark Stadium for Home & ACC Opener

PITTSBURGH, PA – Pitt Lacrosse hosts its home and conference opener Saturday afternoon as they welcome the number two team in the country, Syracuse, to Highmark Stadium. First draw is set for 12 p.m.

Last game, the Panthers defeated Siena in New York, by a score of 13-11. Camdyn O'Donnell scored a hat trick, her second this season, and four Panthers added two goals a piece: Sydney Naylor, Ava Washington, Talia Zuco and Maeve Murray. Goalie Hannah Van Middelem also added 15 saves, her season high.

Syracuse comes to Station Square 3-0 on the year, including two, top-five victories. They have defeated #4 Northwestern, #2 Maryland and Binghamton in the early season. Meaghan Tyrrell paces the Orange offensively with 25 points already (9 G, 16 A).

Admission is free at Highmark Stadium for all fans and the first 300 fans will receive a Pitt Lacrosse rally towel. In addition, the team will be signing autographs postgame and schedule posters will be available. Watch the game on ACCNX here.
