NOTES
- First-year head coach Jenny Allard and the Pitt softball team continue the fall season with a doubleheader against Saint Francis at Vartabedian Field, Saturday afternoon. The first game of the doubleheader will begin at 3:30 p.m. with the second game to follow 30 minutes after the completion of the first game. All games are free and open to the public.
- The Panthers added six experienced transfers in Alena Ball (George Mason), infielder Caroline Deem (Massachusetts), catcher KK Esparza (Ole Miss), infielder Desirae Martinez (Bethune-Cookman), pitcher Kyra Pittman (Maryland), and pitcher Olivia Stefanoni (Akron). Pitt also looks to utilize their talented freshman class of Danni Farris, Jordan George, Jace Jackson, Ahmari Braden, and Hannah Greer.
- Seniors Kat Rodriguez and Cami Compson return to the Panthers lineup this season. Rodriguez finished 2023 batting .307 (42-for-137) with 14 doubles, three home runs, and 19 RBI. Compson batted .259 (28-for-108) for 2023, adding seven doubles, 23 RBI and drawing 11 walks.
