Pitt Gymnastics Debuts 2024 Season Schedule

PITTSBURGH – The University of Pittsburgh gymnastics program officially released its 2024 season schedule, announced Monday morning by head coach Casey Jo MacPherson who enters her first year at the helm of the program.
This season will kick off the first year the Panthers will compete in the ACC, with gymnastics becoming the conference's 28th sponsored sport.
Panther Nation will get their first insight on the 2024 team at the Blue v. Gold intersquad meet on Dec. 18.
The Panthers will kick off their regular season on the road this year as they head to Philadelphia, PA for the Keystone Classic at UPenn (Jan. 5). The following weekend, the Panthers will host Kent State on Jan. 13 for their home opener. They then take on back-to-back travel weekends for two ACC dual meets against Clemson (Jan. 21) and NC State (Jan. 26) to finish off competition in January.
The Panthers return home to host their first ACC matchup in Pittsburgh against North Carolina (Feb. 2). Pitt will remain at home to welcome Clemson on Feb. 9. Then they hit the road down to Chapel Hill, NC where North Carolina will host them (Feb. 16). To complete the month of February, Pitt will head home to meet NC State on Feb. 25.
Pitt then heads down to Morgantown, WV for a quad meet against host and rival WVU along with Towson and Western Michigan (March 3). The Panthers return to Pittsburgh for their final home meet of the regular season as they welcome Bowling Green State on March 8. Pitt will complete its regular season road schedule in Nashville, TN for the Nashville Invite (March 15-16).
The first ACC Championship will be held in Greensboro, NC on March 23. The National Collegiate Women's Gymnastics Regionals are set for April 4-7 with the location still being determined.
