CJ Funk started the rally when he was hit by a pitch with one out. The bases were loaded on consecutive errors from the Eagles. Jeffrey Wehler cleared the bases with a double to left center. Tatem Levins knocked in Wehler with a single to centerfield, but a double play followed to end the game.

The Eagles built an early lead with a sac fly and RBI-double in their first trip to the plate and added an RBI-triple in the third inning.
The Panthers took the lead in the fourth inning. Levins led off with his 10th homer of the year to right field. Sky Duff and Ron Washington, Jr. drew walks. With two outs, Funk hit his fourth homer of the season off the light tower in left field.
Boston College took the lead back in the sixth inning on an RBI-single and three-run triple. A two-run double with two outs in the eighth inning proved to be the difference.
The rubber match is Sunday at 1 p.m.
NOTES
- Logan Evans started on the mound and went 5.1 innings with five runs, seven hits, two walks and four strikeouts.
- Duff extend his reached-base streak to 50 games with a walk and single.
- Levins had a team-high three hits.
