TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Pitt softball team fell, 10-0, in five innings in game two of a three game series to No. 3/3 Florida State in an Atlantic Coast Conference contest Saturday afternoon at JoAnne Graf Field.
Florida State (19-0, 2-0 ACC) scored the game's first run with an RBI single to left. It added two more in the bottom of the second and six in the third to lead 9-0 after three innings.
The Seminoles scored one in the bottom of the fourth and Pitt (8-7, 0-2 ACC) could not score in the fifth inning to extend the game.
Senior Sarah Seamans went 2-for-3 and recorded the 11th multi-hit game of her career.
Pitt concludes the series tomorrow afternoon at 12 p.m. Live coverage can be found on the ACCNX.
