PITTSBURGH – The Pitt track and field team will open up their 2022 outdoor campaign this weekend with split squad meets at the Hurricane Invitational in Coral Gables, FL and the Stan Romanoski Open in Morgantown, WV. Both meets will run from Friday, Mar. 18 until Saturday, Mar. 19.

PITTSBURGH – The Pitt track and field team will open up their 2022 outdoor campaign this weekend with split squad meets at the Hurricane Invitational in Coral Gables, FL and the Stan Romanoski Open in Morgantown, WV. Both meets will run from Friday, Mar. 18 until Saturday, Mar. 19.
HOW TO FOLLOW
- Live results for the Hurricane Invitational can be found HERE.

- The meet will begin on Friday at 2:00pm with the hammer throw.
- Saturday's action will begin with field events at 12:00 pm while the running events are scheduled to commence at 12:15 pm.
- Friday action begins at 12:30 pm with the men's discus throw and will conclude at 5:20 pm with the men's 3000m.
- Men's javelin will open up action Saturday at 11:00 am and the meet will conclude at 3:20 pm with the men's 4x400m relay.
- Heptathlete Felix Wolter concluded his strong indoor campaign with Second Team All-American honors in the heptathlon as he posted a 12th place finish at the NCAA Indoor Championships.
- Wolter posted his second straight ACC title in the heptathlon as he posted a school and facility record score of 5,979 to earn First Team All-ACC honors.
- The Pitt men finished the ACC Indoor Championships with 27 points and earned 11th place while the women finished in 15th place with four points.
- Ade Jones-Roundtree earned the first podium finish of his career at the Indoor championships as he notched a third place finish in the 400m dash to earn First Team All-ACC honors. His time of 46.61 seconds marked the fourth fastest in program history.
- Cobe Wiggins (heptathlon), Lonzell Feagin (4x400m) and Nigel Hussey (4x400m) also earned Second Team All-ACC honors for their performances.
- On the women's side, the 4x400m quartet of Kamryn McIntosh, Caleia Johnson, Breanna Phillips and Lydia Bottelier earned two points with the seventh place finish. Ally Brunton (mile) and Bottelier (high jump) each notched one point in their individual events.
- The Panthers return to action next week as they send some student-athletes to the Texas Relays in Austin from Mar. 23-26 and some student-athletes to the Raleigh Relays hosted by NC State from Mar. 24-26.
