Nwokolo, Federiko Named PNC Achievers of the Week

PITTSBURGH – Chiamaka Nwokolo of Volleyball and Federiko Federiko from Men's Basketball have been named PNC Achievers of the Week after a pair of very strong performances.
Nwokolo made eight kills on 14 swings (.429 hitting) and a team-high four blocks in the Panthers Final Four loss to Louisville. Nwokolo finished her fourth and final NCAA Tournament for Pitt leading the team in hitting percentage (.473) and earning her first-career All-Regional team award the week prior in the Madison Regional.
Federiko Federiko scored a season-high 22 points to go along with eight rebounds (four offensive boards) and three blocked shots in an 82-56 win over North Florida Saturday afternoon at the Petersen Events Center. Federiko went 10-of-14 from the field with three dunks in the win.
Over the past two games, Federiko is averaging 19.5 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 3.0 blocks per game, while going 17-of-24 from the field.
