Panthers Conclude Fall Season with Four Games This Weekend

PITTSBURGH – The Pitt softball team wraps up its fall season with four games this weekend at Vartabedian Field.
The Panthers will face Glenville State in a double-header on Saturday, Oct. 8, beginning at 12 p.m., followed by another double-header against Kent State on Sunday, Oct. 9, beginning at 1 p.m.
The second game of both double headers will start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
Pitt has competed against Davis & Elkins and Saint Francis so far this fall. Multiple Panthers have logged big hits this fall, including graduate student Yvonne Whaley and senior Bailey Drapola who have each hit a home run. Sophomore Kylie Griggs and graduate student Sarah Seamans have also contributed offensively, recording two doubles each against Saint Francis.
Pitt's regular season softball schedule will be announced later this winter.
