- The Wolfpack have won a total of five straight games against Pitt in the all-time series including an 88-44 victory at Pitt a season ago.
- The Pitt offense struggled as they missed the services of starting point guard Dayshanette Harris. The Panthers scored a season-low 48 points as Notre Dame secured the 59-48 win in the final home game for the Panthers this year.
- The Panthers were led offensively by Jayla Everett who netted 10 points, four rebounds and three assists while Amber Brown provided seven points, four rebounds and three assists in the loss.
- The lone bright spot for the Panthers on Monday was the play of their freshmen class as the four-player class combined to net 18 points off the bench. Sandrine Clesca and Taisha Exanor each netted five points while Tracey Hueston and Liatu King added four points each in the loss.
- Junior guard Jayla Everett has led the Panthers offensively all season long and currently ranks 12th in the ACC in scoring (14.9 ppg). She also ranks 4th in the ACC in three-pointers made/game (2.8) while connecting on a team-high 45 triples.
- A bright spot for the Panthers so far this season has been their rebounding. The Panthers currently rank 10th among Power 5 programs in total rebounds/game (42.2 rpg). Pitt also ranks 8th in the NCAA and 3rd among Power 5 teams (South Carolina & Baylor) in offensive rebounds/game (16.5 orpg).
- Pitt returns to the road Thursday afternoon as they take on #2 NC State at 4:00 pm on RSN (AT&T SportsNet Pittsburgh).

- Sophomore center Rita Igbokwe has recorded at least one block in 21 straight games, the longest current streak in the ACC and 2nd longest in the NCAA among Power 5 players.
- The Panthers have done a great job over the last two seasons of attacking the offensive glass.
- Last time out, Pitt snagged 15 offensive rebounds against Notre Dame. They have nine straight games with 15+ offensive rebounds, marking the first time Pitt has done so since the 2005-06 season.
- Pitt has three games with 20+ offensive rebounds this season, all three of which came in the last six games.
- The Panthers have upped their production on the offensive glass this season as they lead the ACC overall (16.5 orpg) and in ACC games (17.0 orpg).
- The Panthers currently rank 8th in the NCAA in offensive rebounds/game (16.5 orpg) and third overall among Power 5 programs (South Carolina, Baylor).
- Since White took over the program in 2018-19, the Panthers are +7.2 offensive rebounds/game as they grabbed just 9.3 offensive boards/game during the 2017-18 season.
- Pitt has a pair of forwards who rank inside the top-5 in the ACC in offensive rebounds/game in conference games. Cynthia Ezeja ranks fourth (3.0 orpg) and Rita Igbokwe ranks fifth (2.9 orpg).
- One of the biggest points of emphasis for the Panthers since Lance White became head coach was rebounding the ball.
- The Panthers have taken that to heart as they are averaging 6.6 rpg more this season (42.1 rpg) than the season before White took over the program (2017-18 - 35.5 rpg).
- Pitt ranks 10th among Power 5 conference teams in rebounds/game (42.1 rpg) and 3rd in offensive rebounds/game (16.5 orpg).
- Pitt has 10 games this season with 40+ rebounds including in five straight ACC games.
- So far this season, the Panthers have won the rebounding battle nine times. Since White took over the program, Pitt is 16-16 when winning the battle on the boards and just 5-41 when losing it.
- Pitt will close out their regular season on the road on Sunday as they head to Atlanta to take on Georgia Tech. Sunday's game will tip at 2:00 pm on ACC Network.
