Noland Joins Pitt Volleyball Coaching Staff

Fisher Adds Guam Men’s National Team Member
PITTSBURGH – Pitt volleyball head coach Dan Fisher has added Matt Noland to his staff as volunteer assistant coach, announced Wednesday.
"I'm thankful for the opportunity to join the volleyball family at Pitt," Noland said. "I'm excited to be a part of this program because of the values of hard work and personal relationships that are taught here."
Noland arrives in Pittsburgh after spending last three years as director of athletics for Harvest Christian Academy in MongMong-Toto-Maite, Guam. He has been a member of the Guam Men's National Indoor Volleyball Team since 2017. Additionally, Noland founded, directed and coached for the Metgot Volleyball Club.
The Aklavik, Northwest Territories, Canada, native earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in interdisciplinary studies from Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown, Wis., in 2015 and 2017, respectively. He competed for the SaberCats' club program before men's volleyball was added as a varsity intercollegiate sport at MBU for the 2017-18 season. Noland played for head coach Regina DeLozier, a two-time AVCA NCCAA Coach of the Year (2017, 2019).
