• Pitt plays NC State Wednesday, March 11 at the Greensboro Coliseum in the second round of the New York Life ACC Tournament. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. on ESPN with Dave O'Brien, Jordan Cornette and Katie George on the call.
• Pitt fell 77-73 at NC State Feb. 29 as Au'Diese Toney scored 24 points on 9-of-13 shooting from the field. The Panthers shot 47.3 percent (26-of-55) from the field, but just 55.5 percent (15-of-27) from the foul line in the loss.
• The Panthers are 6-6 all-time in ACC Tournament play, including a 3-2 mark at the Greensboro Coliseum. Pitt dropped an 81-70 decision to NC State March 11, 2015 in Greensboro in the only ACC Tournament meeting between the two schools.
