12/5/2019 11:36:00 AM | Baseball
PITTSBURGH – Second-year head coach Mike Bell announced the University of Pittsburgh Baseball 2020 schedule on Thursday. The Panthers play a 56-game regular season with 25 home games.
Playing 10 weekend series in the traditionally tough ACC Conference, the Panthers face off against three conference champions and seven other teams who made the NCAA Regionals, including a Florida State squad that made the College World Series and two fellow league opponents that reached the super regionals (Duke and North Carolina).
"We're extremely excited and look forward to the challenges of our 2020 schedule," Bell said. "We truly believe our quality of non-conference opponents and competition from the ACC will provide a great challenge for our student-athletes. This schedule will not only challenge them, but prepare them to compete for championships."
