Pitt Announces 2020 Gymnastics Meet Promotions

Panthers to Host Five Home Meets
PITTSBURGH – Pitt has announced promotions for its five home gymnastics meets on the 2020 campaign.
Single-meet and group tickets are now on sale on PittsburghPanthers.com or by calling the Pitt Ticket Office at (800) 643-PITT (7488). Flex season tickets are also on sale.
The Panthers will kick off the season with a Preview Meet set for 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, at Fitzgerald Field House. Admission is free to all for the Blue-Gold intrasquad competition.
Pitt will open the regular season with a dual against New Hampshire Saturday, Jan. 11, at 2 p.m. The team will recognize the Bee Foundation in honor of alumna Mallory Brewer who passed away from a ruptured brain aneurysm in 2016.
Next, the Panthers will host their annual Autism Awareness Meet Saturday, Jan. 19, at 2 p.m. against Ball State. Fans are encouraged to wear blue in support of the cause, and the team will be giving away free blue pom-poms.
Pitt's Alumnae Meet will be held Saturday, Feb. 8, at 2 p.m. against NC State. Forever Panthers will be recognized prior to the second rotation. Fans who bring a pair of socks to donate at the meet will receive a pair of Pitt socks in return for the Sock It To Homelessness promotion.
Pitt will host Daddy-Daughter Date Meet in honor of Valentine's Day Saturday, Feb. 15, at 2 p.m. against Towson and Yale. The Panthers will host a Valentine's Day bag-making station for children.
Finally, the Panthers' Senior Night will be Friday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m., against West Virginia. The meet will also be Pitt's Junior Panthers Day, where members will receive free admission and a Spirit Bag. Pitt students will receive free Chic-Fil-A at the meet.
