PITTSBURGH – Twenty members of the Pitt track and field team will compete for tickets to the NCAA Outdoor Championships by first making a stop in Tampa, Fla., for the NCAA East Preliminary Round.

PITTSBURGH – Twenty members of the Pitt track and field team will compete for tickets to the NCAA Outdoor Championships by first making a stop in Tampa, Fla., for the NCAA East Preliminary Round.
HOW TO FOLLOW
- Live results can be found on NCAA.com.
- The meet will be streamed live on FloTrack.org.
- A recap of each day's events, along with results, will be posted to PittsburghPanthers.com.
WHAT'S ON THE LINE
- Qualifying to the Championships site is accomplished through performance in the Preliminary Round competition.
- For each individual event contested at each Preliminary Round site, the top 48 declared student-athletes and top 24 declared relay teams are accepted into the competition.
- Twelve competitors from each individual event and 12 teams from each relay event advance from each Preliminary Round site.
- Those accepted into Championships competition based on their performance at Preliminary Round competition will be announced and posted on NCAA.com the week prior to Championships competition.
