PITTSBURGH – Pitt track and field will travel to Charlottesville, Va., for the seventh annual Virginia Classic at Lannigan Field Friday and Saturday.

PITTSBURGH – Pitt track and field will travel to Charlottesville, Va., for the seventh annual Virginia Classic at Lannigan Field Friday and Saturday.

- The meet will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra Friday and Saturday, with broadcasts starting at 7 p.m. each night.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
- Friday will kick off with women's triple jump at 11:30 a.m., and Saturday will start with the women's 3000m steeplechase at 10:30 a.m.

LAST TIME OUT
- Pitt track and field finished weekend competition at the Bison Outdoor Classic, hosted by Bucknell at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium Sunday.
- Sophomores Danté Watson and Drew Glick each placed in the top 10 of the men's 800m. Watson finished third with a time of 1:52.18, and Glick took sixth at 1:52.41.
- Sophomore Jordan Fields placed fourth in the women's long jump with a mark of 5.23m.
- Senior Sullena Staton finished 16th in the women's 100m hurdles, crossing the line in 15.79.
- Freshman Cobe Wiggins took 17th in the men's 110m hurdles with a personal best time of 16.09.

- The Panthers will visit Charlottesville, Va., for the Virginia Classic Friday and Saturday, April 20-21.
