PITTSBURGH – The University of Pittsburgh women's basketball concludes its four-game homestand with Cincinnati Friday, Nov. 16 at the Petersen Events Center at 7 p.m.

- Improve the Panthers' lead over the Bearcats to 11-4 in the all-time series and be the second straight victory for Pitt over Cincinnati.
- Be the 138th victory for the women's program at the Petersen Events Center, with the current all-time program record sitting at 137-110.
LAST TIME OUT
- Pitt enters the game after falling to regional rival Youngstown State, 64-55, Tuesday evening at the Petersen Events Center.
- Redshirt senior Aysia Bugg matched her career high point output, tallying 20 in the loss to Youngstown State.
- On the season, senior Cassidy Walsh has led the Pitt offense, making three straight starts, recording 40 points, while adding 11 assists, eight rebounds and two steals.
SCOUTING THE PENGUINS
- Cincinnati (2-1, 0-0 American) saw its unbeaten streak come to an end Monday with a 76-72 overtime loss to Old Dominion. The Bearcats opened the year with two straight victories, taking down Austin Peay, 69-48, in the season opener and moving on to defeat East Tennessee State, 77-64.
- This will be the first road contest of the season for the Bearcats.
- Senior guard Nikira Goings leads the Bearcat offense, tallying 52 points for an average of 17.3 per game on the young season. She is shooting 39.5 percent (17-of-43) from the floor, in addition to a mark of 37 percent (10-of-27) from behind the arc.
- Cincinnati returns three starters from last season in what was their best year in 15 seasons. The team advanced to the American Athletic Conference Championship and returns 68 percent of its scoring and 66 percent of its rebounding from the 2017-18 campaign. The AAC's Freshman of the Year, Ilmar'I Thomas, was the team's leading scorer last season, having averaged 9.7 points and 6.0 rebounds per game.
LOOKING AHEAD
- Pitt will hit the road for five straight, taking on Georgetown in the Nation's Capital Nov. 19, before heading to Nashville for the Challenge in Music City, where the Panthers will face off with Wisconsin (Nov. 23), Arkansas (Nov. 24) and Tennessee State (Nov. 25).
- The Panthers conclude the road swing on Nov. 29, competing in the ACC/Big 10 Challenge against Northwestern.
- Pitt returns home for four straight, beginning with a Dec. 5 meeting with Fordham.
