PITTSBURGH – Pitt women's basketball (8-6, 0-1 ACC) will host Wake Forest (8-6, 0-1 ACC) for its first ACC home tilt of the season Thursday at 7 p.m. at Petersen Events Center.

- Junior center Kalista Walters is third in the country and leads the ACC with a season field goal percentage of .679 (76-of-112).
- Freshman guard Pika Rodriguez ranks fourth in the nation and holds the best 3-point field goal percentage in the ACC at 50.0 percent (24-of-48). She ranks 11th in the league with 2.2 threes made per game this season.
- The Panthers are second in the country in total blocked shots (101), just one behind the nation's leader – Binghamton (102). Pitt leads the ACC in blocked shots per game (7.2), ranking fourth in the nation.
- Other top-three ACC rankings for Pitt include: second fewest turnovers (204), third in assist/turnover ratio (+1.16), third in turnover margin (4.57), third in turnovers per game (14.6) and third in field goal percentage defense (.343).
A WIN WOULD…
- Be Pitt's first ACC win of the season and snap a four-game losing streak in ACC regular season games. Pitt's last win against an ACC opponent was Feb. 16, 2017, versus Virginia Tech at Petersen Events Center.
- Be Pitt's first ACC home-opening win. The Panthers are 0-4 all-time in ACC home openers. Thursday will be Pitt's first ACC home opener against an unranked opponent.
- Snap a two-game losing streak in the series against Wake Forest. Pitt's last win against the Demon Deacons came Feb. 15, 2015, in Winston-Salem, N.C.
- Be Pitt's first against Wake Forest when playing in Pittsburgh (0-2).
LAST TIME OUT
- Junior center Kalista Walters hit a school-record 12-of-12 from the field in an 87-49 win for Pitt over Chicago State Sunday at Petersen Events Center.
- The Fleetwood, Pa., native's performance marked a single-game school record for field goal percentage with a minimum of 10 attempts. The previous record of 14-of-16 (.875) was set by Lorri Johnson against Cleveland State Dec. 19, 1988.
- Walters ended with a game-high 24 points and to go along with four rebounds and two blocks. Junior forward Danielle Garven had 16 points on 7-of-10 from the field with five rebounds and a career-high six assists. Junior Kauai Bradley tied her career high with seven assists to go along with six points, seven rebounds, five steals and two blocks.
UNWAVERING WALTERS
- Following her 12-of-12 performance from the floor Sunday, junior center Kalista Walters became one of four ACC women's basketball players all-time to make all 12 of her field goal attempts.
- She is the first to do so since Duke's Sheena Mosch against Clemson on Jan. 28, 2001.

SCOUTING THE DEMON DEACONS
- Wake Forest (8-6, 0-1 ACC) had its six-game win streak snapped at the hands of No. 2/2 Notre Dame Sunday. Prior to the tilt, the Demon Deacons had not lost since Nov. 30 at Penn State (68-58).
- Despite playing in just eight games this season, junior forward Elisa Penna leads the team in scoring with 14.3 points per game. Sophomore guard Alex Sharp is the leading rebounder with 8.1 boards per game, and has dished out a team-high 50 assists.
- The Demon Deacons lead the all-time series with Pitt, 4-2, and are 2-0 when playing in Pittsburgh. Wake Forest has won the last two meetings with the Panthers, with Pitt's last win coming Feb. 15, 2015.
