PITTSBURGH – Pitt men's cross country will be back in action Friday morning at the UB Stampede Invitational, hosted by Buffalo at the Audobon Golf Course.
The 8K race is set to begin at 11 a.m. ET. A recap, including results and times, will be posted to PittsburghPanthers.com.

PANTHER ENTRIES
Running for Pitt will be:
- Freshmen Andrew Burroughs and Zach Lefever
- Sophomores Drew Glick and Jackson Morton
- Juniors Sebastian Curtin, Ryan Hughes and Matt McGoey
- Seniors Billy Caldwell and Aaron Lauer
- Hughes, McGoey and Lauer will all make their 2017 season debut at the meet.
SCOUTING THE FIELD
- Competing schools include Binghamton, Buffalo, Daemen, Colgate, Pittsburgh, McMaster, Le Moyne, Canisius and Western Ontario.
LAST TIME OUT
- The men's last meet was Saturday, Sept. 2, at the Duquesne Duals. Sophomore Jackson Morton picked up an individual win for Pitt at its season-opening meet at Schenley Park.
- The win was the first Morton's cross country career. He recorded a personal best on the Schenley Park 8K course time of 26:08.7.

- Pitt men's and women's cross country will be in action at the Notre Dame/Joe Piane Invitational Friday, Sept. 29, in Notre Dame, Ind.
