PITTSBURGH – The University of Pittsburgh women’s soccer team will host an ID clinic at the Charles L. Cost Complex on Saturday, Feb. 4.
The clinic is set to take place from noon to 5 p.m. at the Panthers’ indoor facility. The camp is open to any and all entrants, limited to girls, currently in grades 8-12. The clinic will help guide and direct those who aspire to play at the highest level. The Pitt coaching staff, as well as current players, will lead the clinic. It will be a highly competitive training environment, encompassing both tactical and technical components of the game that will serve as a taste of what is needed to play at the collegiate level.
The cost of the clinic is $120 and will include a tshirt. Both goalkeepers and field players are encouraged to participate. Each camper must bring her own soccer equipment, cleats, shin guards, water bottle and ball, with goalkeepers additionally needed goalkeeper gloves, and jersey/pants if preferred.
